Seven porcelain vessels, cast from molds of everyday containers from different eras, reproduce disappearing sounds of everyday life. A material created for imagination and countless possible configurations is transformed into the simplest and heaviest element — a building brick. The gesture appears absurd, yet it follows its own logic. Refusing to follow instructions becomes a way of achieving stability.
The work is about a second chance for form and content. About the possibility of departing from an original purpose while still retaining meaning — in another, more rigid way.Материал, созданный для воображения и множества вариантов его воплощения, превращён в самый простой и тяжёлый элемент — строительный кирпич. Этот жест выглядит абсурдным, но в нём есть логика. Отказ следовать инструкции становится способом обрести устойчивость.
Работа о втором шансе формы и наполнения. О возможности не соответствовать изначальному назначению и всё же сохранить смысл — другим, более жёстким способом.
Escape
Escape brings together works in which utilitarian forms depart from their assigned function and reproduce bodily or natural images. The transformation remains incomplete: the new form retains traces of what it is leaving behind. The impulse to escape emerges here as a movement away from an assigned purpose.Escape объединяет работы, в которых утилитарные формы выходят из заданной функции и воспроизводят телесные или природные образы. Превращение остаётся неполным: новая форма сохраняет признаки того, от чего уходит. Импульс к бегству возникает здесь как движение от собственного назначения.
Memory EffectЭффект памяти
A memory-foam mattress remembers the shape of the human body. The work shifts the familiar point of view and asks what happens if the mattress tries to reproduce what it has remembered. Forms made of foam and springs resemble a back and a spine, but repeat them with an error — as though the material were reproducing what it saw, or what was done to it.Матрас с эффектом памяти запоминает форму человеческого тела. Работа меняет привычную точку зрения и задаёт вопрос: что происходит, если матрас пытается самостоятельно воспроизвести то, что запомнил? Формы из пены и пружин напоминают спину и позвоночник, но повторяют их с ошибкой — словно материал воспроизводит то, что видел, или то, что с ним делали.

The construction takes on the appearance of a plant, but the transformation remains incomplete: the new form retains a connection to what it is trying to escape.Конструкция обретает сходство с растением, но превращение остаётся неполным: новая форма сохраняет связь с тем, от чего пытается уйти.

A muffler becomes a vessel for wire stems tipped with self-tapping screws instead of flowers. The map reproduces the contours of a place that can no longer be returned to. Vanished and destroyed sites and renamed streets have been cut out of it.
